    Nice email man!

  2. Gordon says:

Detlev thank you for providing a badly needed, level-headed review of this product amidst all the launch hype.

I am sure it would have been much easier for you to just promote the product like everyone else and then bank your affiliate commissions.

  3. Mark Krusch says:

Thanks for the “heads up” Detlev. I truly appreciate your honesty with this review!

  4. Adri Hart says:

Detlev – Thanks for being so honest! I appreciate your detailed review. I believe it saved me from a costly mistake. I have nothing against RJ either. He does know how to have a good sales letter on his site because people will get sucked into buying if they don’t think twice about it. Keep the reviews coming – people have a right to know what they’re up against before forking over a bunch of money.

  5. Teresa Rothove says:

As a newbie it is refreshing to find someone not afraid to tell it like it is. There are so many new people out there trying to catch a break in this internet marketing and/or just for their own learning experience that unfortuantely rely on the integrity of people selling programs, software and the like. “Yes, Buyer Beware” But since we are not yet well versed in what we should be aware of, it is nice to see your emails giving honest opinions for us to do more reflection on allowing our hard earned money to line the pockets of those who would fool us.

    Thanks again

  6. Jen Lewis says:

Thanks! I am so sick of the GURUS who pat each other on the back, promote each others’ products and line each others’ pockets to capitalize on hype for their own piece of the pie…

  7. Joyce Wolak says:

    Thank you, Detlev!

  8. Father Dave says:

    Good stuff, brother. Thanks.

  9. Jeremy says:

Have you (anyone?) promoted any of the mentioned programs with UnderCover Profits?

I have promoted 4 of the programs (mainly the ‘bonus’ ones) to the cost of $300, yet thus far I have not converted a single sale.

  10. detlev says:

    Hi Jeremy,

no, I haven’t. I didn’t bother with those as I guessed there would be too much competition already because they were free.

    Detlev

  11. detlev says:

Thank you all for your honest comments!

It seems that my review didn’t change anything, though. The Rich Jerk still sold out his script and it seems that a lot of people didn’t care that it was highly overpriced.

So either they are making enough money already or they will soon realize that they’ve paid too much. Either way, for that kind of money, they could have done a lot of testing campaigns in Google…

    Even without the script!

  12. Matt says:

    Hi-

‘m relatively new to IM, but trying to learn what I can- I was hoping to get some feedback on RJ’s program- Besides the software itself, it seems that he has the final word on affiliate programs- That without his new program and training I shouldn’t even bother trying to make money as an affiliate anymore, because all of his trained “assassins” are going to go in, dominate the markets/niches, and leave nothing but crumbs for the rest of us- As a newbie here, I find it very upsetting, like I don’t have a chance-

Is there any hope to make money with affiliate programs WITHOUT RJ’s program? ANy feedback would be helpful-

    Thanks-

  13. detlev says:

    Hi Matt,

The Rich Jerk’s software is not the only way to make money as an affiliate. You should focus on building an email list as this will be your most important asset if you want to make money as an affiliate.

Using PPC is just one way of getting visitors to buy from your link. But if you can build trust with your list, you will certainly get even better conversion rates than just sending them to your landing pages without them knowing you.

Blogging also is another way of making money as an affiliate. As long as you’re providing great content, a lot of people will buy products based on your recommendations.

And as I already mentioned in my review above, there’ll be a new tool out on Tuesday which is going to be even better: Undercover Profits. So I guess, we’ll all have to wait until we can test that one and then it could be a completely different story.

    Best regards,

    Detlev Reimer

  14. Matt says:

Thanks for your response- It is helpful- But when I read through the ad copy, it seems that there’a a lot more to the affiliate training than just using the software- Read through the 27 modules they cover- It does look like it’s the last word on affiliate marketing- It still seems that even without the software, just having access to RJ’s proprietary techniques, will be the only thing to keep anyone in the game- Everyone else will be left behind- Or am I not seeing something here? I really do hate fear-based marketing, but RJ has done it well here-

    Thanks for your response Detlev-

    Matt

  15. Mike Leinweber says:

Hi, great info here. From what I see they are selling a training course including the software. If the training is as good as they say it’s worth 1k easy IMO.

Will have to see and they did offer a 90 day gurantee so no biggie.

  16. Mike Leinweber says:

just checked out the link you had here detlev, maybe this is better then rj software and don’t need his training LOL! See this:

“The Rich Jerk’s software tracks your own campaigns, Under Cover Profits tracks Other Marketers’ campaigns so you know ahead of time what is profitable, before you even test it.

This should clear up any confusion that any internet marketer would have with these two systems. Simply put, UnderCoverProfits.com is the real “Profit Xray”, showing you exactly where to find profits online!”

  17. Mike Leinweber says:

I found out UnderCover Profits is a monthly service. RJ is a one time charge right?

I like what undercover does that RJ’s does not but the monthy fee can add up. As long as you are making plenty to cover that expense would be fine though!

  18. detlev says:

Yes, Undercover Profits has a monthly fee which will be quite high. I am about to write a review about Undercover Profits and in this regard, I sent a question to John Jonas, the creator of this new membership site to help me clarify something. As soon as I have that answer, I will be posting my review here.

    Detlev

P.S.: Matt, there still are organic search engine rankings that you can make a lot of money with if done correctly. But wait till my review – it will probably show you even more possibilities…

  19. Mike Leinweber says:

Thanks Detlev, I’ll be waiting to hear what you have! :o)

What are your thoughts on Competition Dominator?

    Mike

  21. Mike Leinweber says:

detlev, says “Chris Lee & Goran Nagy – Blue Infinity Software Ltd” on the website: http://www.competitiondominator.com

On Warrior an affiliate posted you may get banned from Google using from you own IP all the time since it is a desk top software. Where as UCP that’s not an issue since on their multiple servers. What is your opinion about that?

    Thanks,

Mike, I don’t know about “Competition Dominator”, yet… Who’s the creator?

  23. Mike Leinweber says:

Thanks Detlev, makes since to me!

  24. Patrick Barber says:

I was just getting ready to buy it, then I thought, do a search on it and see if I could buy it cheaper, and then I ran up on your site, what a blessing because I don’t know much about any of this…I just know that the internet is making money. I want to be in the race. Thanks for being the cooler….

    Patrick

  25. detlev says:

    Hi Mike,

I don’t think that you can get banned that quickly. There are dozens of tools out there that are making use of Google’s data. It’s dependent on HOW people are using it, though.

If they are throwing in 400,000 keywords and then are monitoring them every single day, it could probably cause traffic that’s heavier than usual.

I think, when you’re doing something like this, the IP addresses from these online servers would also get banned even if they are using many servers for it. Desktop tools could probably also make use of proxy servers to make it appear that different IP’s are being used…

Regular users with standard sized keyword lists (up to 20,000 or so) probably won’t run into problems. It’s something that needs to be tested, though and I cannot guarantee this.
