    @Graham: Glad you like it. I don’t surf traffic exchanges personally… but what I do to promote them to build a downline through which I earn a percentage of their surfing efforts.

    Also with some exchanges where we can earn e.g. mailing credits I actually let my Virtual Assistant do the surfing for me and she also does the posting of the mailings to those sites.

    Totally agree with methods for getting traffic. Relevant blog and forum commenting is a great addition to article submission. Social media is certainly a popular way for advertising for many businesses today.

    Care needs to be taken with SEO linking software tools, especially with the recent Google Panda (algorithm) update.
