Hi,

I just finished reading Jason Dolman's "Long Tail Traffic Secrets" manuscript and wanted to share with you what I discovered...

First I want to mention is that it's not just one of these 30 page reports. The main part of it has 113 pages. But you get a lot more... a quick start guide, flow charts, spreadsheet examples, a complete resource list and of course the guide itself.The system Jason teaches is basically split into 3 main sections...

1. Phase One - The Road Less Traveled (Page 23 - 43)

2. Phase Two - The Niagara Factor (Page 43 - 96)

3. Phase Three - The Hedgehog Concept (Page 97 - 111)What I found where step by step instructions on how to get ranked on the first page of search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN while you're capturing a ton of free traffic from sites like MySpace, YouTube and Wikipedia.

The manuscript shows also safe, "white hat" search engine optimization techniques that work now and will keep on working for years to come.

To me it seems like there are a lot of unique step by step instructions for flying under the radar and capturing top search engine rankings at will for the hidden search terms that will make you real money...

The 3 different strategies it shares seem to be barely used to generate traffic and should give super power to your Long Tail Traffic marketing strategy including Jason's own proven methods for capitalizing on the traffic power of Squidoo, Wikipedia and 5 other key sites.

Interesting where as well the 5 steps you must follow when you create content for your web pages... If you're ignoring just one of these steps all your efforts employing Web2.0 tactics to rank high in the search engines might be a complete waste of time.

Another part that was quiet cool is when Jason shares his instructions on how to build a simple content page that you can create in minutes and that will have website owners falling over themselves to link to you and the 5 intriguing hooks that almost force backlinks to your web site.

I also liked the 2 proven strategies for harnessing the link power of "social bookmarking" sites like del.icio.us, digg, Spurl, reddit and Blinklist.

And if you follow 6 simple strategies it shows, you can build credibility in your niche, capture highly targeted prospects and build your own website's reputation with the search engines as an authority source... that's something believe is very important.

I have to admit that I didn't even know some of the 36 most powerful content sites. YouTube is fantastic but you'll be amazed by the marketing power you can create when you multiply your submissions on these carefully selected sites.

One thing is for sure... I will talk with my assistant that works on generating traffic to my sites about what I discovered in Jason's Long Tail Traffic Secrets manuscript, to take full advantage of this.
