Go Global Logistics was formed when its’ founder became a
U.S. Customs broker and realized that the complexities of international trade prevent many small- and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) from participating in and reaping the benefits of globalization.
The market for
third-party logistics (3PL) and global trade management (GTM) services is growing at a feverish pace, fueled by globalization and substantially lower labor costs in international markets. With industry growth rates of 15-20%, Go Global is growing rapidly by leveraging our existing relationships while building a strong brand.
Companies who seek to engage in
international trade have a difficult time knowing where to begin. The services involved are scattered among thousands of different providers and there is no central location for information. Small- and mid-sized companies are often overwhelmed by the prospect of doing business globally simply because of the lack of knowledge and fragmented nature of the services involved.
Sourcing companies, distributors, consolidators,
freight forwarders,
customs brokers, and trading houses are just some of the many players involved in doing business with a foreign country. The few companies that offer all of these services are large behemoths that refuse business from SMBs and prefer to maintain a small number of very large clients. As a result, SMBs find it very difficult to manage the numerous third-party providers involved in moving their shipments, and often have to hire additional employees just to manage their relationships with numerous third-party logistics (3PL) providers and the added workload.
Go Global fills this gap by providing a complete range of services covering all aspects of international trade. As the centerpiece of our services, the Go Global Marketplace is an online website that connects international buyers and sellers, assists in sourcing and processing their transactions, manages the shipments online, and creates new business for Go Global. Currently, there is no central location that companies can go to for complete information on all aspects of international trade. We meet this need by providing online sourcing, transaction management, shipping, tracking,
customs clearance, distribution, and the complete knowledge and service offerings required to engage in global commerce.
Go Global Logistics is committed to upholding the highest standards of morality and following the letter of the law. We strive to maintain the highest levels of security on all of our shipments, realizing we are on the front lines in preventing prohibited goods from entering the country. We also give back to the community in the form of both time and money and encourage our employees to get involved with the volunteer programs we support. We strive to help make a difference in the communities in which we operate and build the
Go Global brand to reflect the high quality of our services and our image as a responsible company.
By offering our customers individualized attention, we create a competitive advantage and demonstrate our commitment to minimize errors and maximize efficiency on every shipment. We believe that it only takes a minimal amount of additional effort to provide the high level of service that is currently lacking in the industry. We encourage feedback from our customers on what we can do better, and we take immediate action. This basic, humanistic approach to business has proven very successful and has initially received an extremely positive response leading to total customer satisfaction.
We pride ourselves on having the most talented people in the industry and offering the most complete range of services available. Because of our positive, motivational attitude with both employees and customers, Go Global Logistics is universally regarded as both a great place to work for, and a reliable place to do business with.
