Cigarette is an extremely curious item. We see them everyday and they've become an inseparable part of us. What else in this world can be as popular as cigarettes? Well maybe sex and beer, but that's it.
Some of us can't imagine our lives without cigarettes. Besides the pleasure of smoking, cigarettes can serve as an indicator of your social status, just like watches and shoes.
We started judging each others well being on the brand of cigarettes we smoke. And special rooms for smokers have gained a status of some kind of clubs, as it is the easiest way to make new acquaintances. Very often serious business collaboration starts with a cigarette and a chat in a smoke room.
Yes, all of us are perfectly aware of the danger caused by smoking, but more likely we won't give up smoking. Because smoking is not just a bad habit, it's a way of life and it's a part of us. The life of a smoker becomes tasteless without cigarettes.
Sex and beer taste better when accompanied by cigarette. Cigarette smokers measure time in cigarettes not hours. For example here is my time to smoke schedule:
I want a cigarette after waking up
I still want a cigarette when going to bed
I like a cigarette when I'm pissed off
I love a cigarette after a passionate sex session
I long for a cigarette after a couple of drinks
I still can smoke a cigarette when drunk
I enjoy a cigarette before meal
I enjoy a cigarette after meal
I have a cigarette when driving
I have a cigarette when thinking
I have a cigarette when embarrassed
I have a cigarette when happy
I have a cigarette when coughing
I have a cigarette when buying another pack
I have a cigarette when driving
I have a cigarette when watching movie
I have a cigarette when bored
I have a cigarette when scared
I have a cigarette when drinking coffee
I have a cigarette when I don't have a reason to have it.
If you hate smoking, don't smoke. If you hate smokers, don't fuck them.
And for god's sake, stop warning us threatening with death. We know smoking kills, because it's written on every cigarette pack. And we can read, at least the majority of us. And want to know a secret? We don't care. So please, save your time and our nerves.
It is unlikely that I ever join an old ass fun club, so not very bothered about not becoming one.
