A 3-foot rule prospect is not necessarily a bad prospect. In fact, if the opportunity naturally presents itself to mention your business that’s a great opportunity. The new prospect is not going to make a decision on the spot in almost all cases, so the next thing you want to do is have a tool handy to sort that prospect. In essence, you’re directing your prospect to a website where they will clearly derive a benefit from by giving their information in exchange for value from something given at the web site.
