    Ok…So here we go…

    The No1 Biggest Network Marketing Killer…

    WARM MARKET MARKETING!

    Let’s start with a short story….

    When I first discovered network marketing I was absolutely awestruck; I thought I’d found the Holy Grail…

    Network Marketing seemed the key to my dreams. That’s what I was searching for. I could make MILLIONS in just a few months… All I had to do was find three who found three who found three and that was it, game over, I’m packing my bags and off to the Bahamas’ for a Pina Colada faster the Great Train Robbers could catch a plane to Spain…AND WITH MORE MONEY THAN THEY COULD EVER DREAM OF…

    Well, at least that’s what the internet presentation led me to think…

    Ok, so here we go…I’ve just started in my first network marketing business…

    Welcome to the business Henry; said my sponsor. Let’s compile your ‘everyone you know list’…Your EYK!

    Ok… My Mum’s in, my brother’s in, I have a list of 200+ other people to go after… My butcher, my baker, my hairdresser…And even that man I bought the tea towel from at my front door while on holiday in Skegness. Excellent, I’m nearly there…Here comes that pot of Gold…Just a few calls to make and we’ll be RICH!

    • Ring…ring……

    • Me – “Hi, Henry Baker here, remember me? I bought ½ a kilo of lean mince and a pound of tripe from you back in 1997…”

    • Butcher – “Ah…yes…young Henry, how are you”

    • Me – “Great…But hey, listen…I’ve come across something and I need you to have a look…”

    • Butcher – “Really…What’s that…”

    • Me – “Well…this is an amazing opportunity…but, rather than me tell you and get all the details wrong…give this number a call and have a listen for yourself….”

    • Butcher – “Ok…”


    Sound familiar?

    Wow, I must have made thousands of those calls… And guess what, the butcher didn’t make the call as didn’t 90% of the people I spoke to. Even the few that did call and did become distributors weren’t around long…

    You see, that is the experience of nearly everyone who joins a network markeing company…

    Why?

    BETTER PUT MY FLAK JACKET ON…THIS IS WHERE I GET IN TROUBLE…

    Because techniques like this aren’t designed for you! They’re designed to work for your company…

    So, what am I saying?

    BUILDING A HUGE, ABSOLUTELY HUGE, ASTRONOMICALLY HUGE BUSINESS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR WARM MARKET!

    I’ll say it again…

    BUILDING A HUGE, ABSOLUTELY HUGE, ASTRONOMICALLY HUGE BUSINESS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR WARM MARKET!

    Nothing, nothing, nothing… Forget them…You DO NOT need them…In fact, bothering them is a really, really, really good way to destroy any credibility you had with them and get removed from the guest list to those Sunday afternoon barbecues in the baking sun with a cold beer, cocktail and a fresh home made quarter pounder in a really soft sesame seed bun (with some of those green, really tasty but just a little bit too hot Jalapeno peppers).

    Don’t believe me?

    Look around, does Richard Branson need his warm market, did Bill Gates build his empire from his warm market? Do your ‘leaders’ surround themselves at the ‘ra, ra’ events with their friends and family? Of course not…

    Because 99% of the time that isn’t how they built there businesses…And, that ISN’T how you should build yours…

    Why does everyone tell me to do it then?

    I can hear what you’re thinking, I felt the same and the reason is simple. It’s all about leverage…But not yours…You see your success isn’t that important…For the network marketing companies this is a numbers game…They know most people will fail and in order to keep propagating they need everyone to introduce ‘new lambs to the slaughter’ as quickly as possible. Some will make it but most won’t; those that do will likely have been introduced by those who don’t.

    THEY KNOW MOST PEOPLE WILL FAIL…They know they need to leverage everyone who becomes a distributor FAST…They know only a few people will succeed! By having thousands of people finding one or two people they CAN use MASSIVE leverage!

    So, there you have it…The single biggest misnomer, myth, failure, mistake of virtually every single networker…Don’t fall into the trap!
