Fake plastic trees are replacing the uses of natural ones. Artificial silk trees have gained ground as interior and outdoor décor articles and people go in for fake plastic trees and preserved trees or fake palm trees for many a reason.

Our country’s initial wealth was made by the abundance of vegetation and some of our forefathers prided themselves for being great loggers. But present day environmental science has opened our eyes on the dangers of the unmindful felling of trees and deforestation. This is one of the reasons for turning to fake plastic trees and plants.

Our country’s literature abounds with logging events. We have mention of our forefathers laying roads using logs. Science has given timely warning on the Greenhouse effect and the need to preserve natural greenery.

The high rise buildings have made it impossible for people either to grow or have their own natural plants or trees or gardens. The lack of open space and the impossibility of caring the natural vegetation in apartments and offices have made it imperative to go in for fake plastic trees and fake palm trees and silk orchids.

Fake plants include all varieties—artificial silk trees, silk plants, silk topiaries, silk flowers, artificial silk garlands, silk orchids, silk palm, fake tall trees, fake wreaths fake or silk flower arrangements and fake plastic hedges.

The fake plastic palm trees look so real that people will take them for the real. The fake palm trees are made of strong materials like steel cores for stems, quality Chinese silk, and preserved natural bark to cover the stems. The plastic used in fake palm trees is of the best quality to retain color and shape for long. The multi-color orchids and crotons with their rust to gold colors just bring heaven to earth. Making fake plastic trees or artificial silk plants and trees is a Hi-tech industry today.

Unlike fake plastic trees or artificial silk trees and plants, natural trees demand constant attention. They have to be placed in the proper soil combination and given daily attention. Sun, wind and rain affect them. They take time to grow and need regular pruning to keep them in shape. They have to be watered properly and dusted with pesticides to stop insects from infesting them. They shed leaves in and out of season and change colors. They require constant maintenance and are very difficult to care for and at times become very costly.

Fake trees are different. Fake palm and silk trees retain their color and shape permanently. Artificial silk plants and trees don’t spread their pollen particles and cause allergy. Fake plastic trees and fake plants of the right and desired size can be bought and put in their places in no time.

Those who select fake plastic trees and plants select these artificial plants and trees for the convenience of creating the desired interior decoration in a short time. They don’t smudge the places with water seeping out of the pots. The planters too remain very bright throughout with little need to clean them. The chores are nil to nothing in the maintenance of artificial or fake plastic trees or fake palm trees. Even preserved trees create no problems. In small apartments and in office buildings, where taking-care is a problem, these fake plastic palms and trees come in handy to create the green atmosphere.

These artificial Pine trees make Christmas décor simple and easy. They can be stored away and brought out in the next Christmas season. The worry about the disposal of the withered naturals is not there.

Above all these, fake plastic trees or artificial silk trees help preserving natural vegetation from being cut for regular day-to-day decoration purposes. They also afford another facility which is absent with natural ones. The fake plastic trees or artificial silk or preserved trees, silk plants silk garlands, silk topiaries, silk palms and silk pines and fake orchids can be moved easily from place to place to change the interior or outdoor decoration to suit the events or create new motifs. Thus new arrangements of fake plants and silk trees are possible in a short time.
